About Us

Barbara Spratling Middle School is a vibrant, dynamic, engaging middle school whose priorities are student driven. Barbara Spratling Middle School opened its doors on January 8, 2002. The school serves approximately 250 students in grades 6th through 8th grades. 

At Spratling Middle School, our goal is to create an active engaging learning environment where every child develops a love of learning and develops the tools to become a lifelong learner. We know the success of every child depends upon a team approach between school and home; therefore, we invite you to become an active participant in your child’s education and the Spratling Middle School community.

The mission of Spratling Middle school is to empower and inspire all students to apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to become creative problem solvers, to achieve personal success and to contribute responsibly to our diverse and dynamic world.  As a staff, we will work collaboratively with parents, students and the community to maintain a positive and safe environment that contributes to the total development of each Spratling Middle School student, helping them on their journey to become college and career ready.
